To place the counter on your web page, execute the following two items: 1. Place the following two html tags on your web page: - (the "img" tag is a continuous string): <img src="http://info-asyst.com/cgi-bin/web571c5/countergif/counter.cgi?fnam=count&viz=yes &isinv=yes&setup=/drv1/web/sites/web571c5/cgi-bin/countergif/setup.txt"> Then enter the phrase that preceeds the image counter. The program looks for that phrase, and inserts the graphics display immediately afterwards. The phrase must match the one indicated in the setup.txt file in the "/cgi-bin/countergif" programs directory. The default phrase is: You are visitor number: 2. Modify the parameter "PageName" in the setup.txt file - located in the "/cgi-bin/countergif" sub-directory. PageName should equal the name of your web page on which you are placing the counter image. For example: PageName=index.html.
